The N.C. Board of Transportation on Thursday will consider road contracts for several projects, including bids to resurface 5.5 miles of Interstate 74 from I-77 to U.S. 601 in Surry County. Grant Anticipation Revenue Vehicles, more commonly known as Garvee bonds, will pay for the project.
